Around 5 miles from Hawkins are the lovely beaches of Whitsand, Tregonhawke and Tregantle, all of which are accessible by walking down the cliff. Rip currents can make swimming in this area unsafe at certain times, so please swim, surf or body-board safely, within the flags, and in sight of the lifeguard.
